林芝巴松措景区

巴松措湖,藏语又称措高湖,意为“绿色的水”,是西藏东部最大的湖泊,位于工布江达县。巴松措景区集雪山、湖泊、森林、瀑布牧场、文物古迹、名胜古刹为一体,景色殊异,四时不同,名类野生珍稀植物汇集,实为人间天堂,有“小瑞士”美誉。巴松措湖被白雪皑皑的山峰和天然森林所环绕,远离城市,仍然以其原始的美丽和宁静为外界所知。

巴松措湖湖面面积约27平方公里,最深处达120米,湖面海拔3480米。其深蓝色的湖面像一面镜子,清晰地反映出湖岸的高山和绿色植物。此外,它还是藏传佛教宁玛派即所谓的红教的圣湖,宁玛派寺庙坐落在中心小岛上,南岸附近有一个由宁玛派创始人莲花生祈福的寻子洞,据说这对渴望生育的人非常有效。美丽的风景加上令人惊叹的传说,巴松措湖是一个神圣和令人惊叹的地方,可以探索的远非仅此而已。

人们发现,藏传佛教起源于7世纪和8世纪的巴松措湖岸边。另一个吸引人的原因是在湖的西北岸爱冒险的旅行者会发现一块巨大的石头,上面有一个洞,可以让一个人通过。传说通过这个洞可以祛病消灾。

Basum Tso Lake, also called Cuogao Lake in Tibetan, meaning the green water is the largest lake in the eastern Tibet, located in Gongbogyamda County. The Basum Tso Lake Scenic Area integrates snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, pastures, cultural relics and historic sites, scenic spots and temples into a whole. The scenery is different in the four seasons. Withvarious famous wild rare plants, it is really a paradise on the earth and has the reputation of Little Switzerland.Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and natural forest, Basum,located far from the city,is still known to the outside world for its pristine beauty and tranquility

The lake covers an area of approximately 27 square kilometers, with a maximum depth of 120 meters and an elevation of 3,480 meters. Its dark blue lake surface like a mirror clearly reflects the tall mountains and green plants in the lakeshore. Besides, it is also a holy lake of the Tibetan Buddhism Nyingma sect, the so-called red caps, with a Nyingma temple sited on a small island in the center and the Praying-for-Son Cavenear the south shore blessed by Padmasambhava (founder of Nyingma sect), which is said quite effective for persons eager tohaveson. Combiningthebeautiful scenery and amazing legends, the Basum Lake is such a holy and spectacular land that there is much more to explore.

People findthatthe Tibetan Buddhismus began in 7th and 8th centuries on the Basumtso Lake shores. Another attractive reason to visit the lake isthaton its northwest bank, adventurous travelers can find a tremendous stone, which has a hole allowing one person to pass. Unlike the other holy lakes in Tibet, the Basum Lake is totally encircled with profuse primeval forest. Following the crystal clearjade blue water, you can easily see through the waterand find groups of fish swimming happily. Frequently, there are sand gulls, white cranes, and the other water-birds fly across the lake surface, searching for food or playing with each other in the air. Far from the lake, the endless mountains with snow covered in the summit are standing still and splendidly around the lake. 

Like an original ecological natural park, Basum presents the beauty of nature. In Spring, the clustersof flowers blossom on the lakeshore, and theycreate a charming atmospheretogether withthe mountainsaround. When it comes to Autumn, the whole area dress in red. The fire red maple leaves refracted the sunshine into the water, which is breathtaking and spectacular. With this simple beauty, Basum is a virgin land for visitors to discover its purity.
