The scenic area is divided into ten major zones, including the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University (Kangda) Viewing Area, the Ecological Sightseeing Area, and the Huashan Scenic Area. In the Kangda Viewing Area, you can visit the Exhibition Hall of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, learn about that magnificent period of history, and feel the inheritance of the "Kangda Spirit". In the Ecological Sightseeing Area, wandering along the tree-lined paths, Chinese chestnut trees, golden willows, peonies, pomegranates and other plants form a beautiful picture, letting you immerse yourself in the embrace of nature.

Once barren ridges and denuded slopes, these mountains have been transformed by decades of comprehensive restoration into an ecological wonder: pine and locust “caps” on the summits, fruit trees girdling the mid-slopes, and terraced fields cradling the foothills—an achievement that earned the area the title “the greenest place in the Taihang Mountains” from the Ministry of Forestry. 前南峪不仅有山水柔情，更有红色热血。抗日战争时期，这里是晋冀鲁豫抗日根据地的核心区域，八路军一二九师曾在此战斗生活，留下了大量革命遗迹。

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it was a core area of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Anti-Japanese Base Area. Stepping into the Exhibition Hall of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University (Kangda), old photos and relics tell stories of the wartime years—how Kangda students lived and studied with the spirit of "unity, alertness, earnestness and liveliness," and fought bravely with bloodshed. Wandering through the courtyard of the former site, one can almost hear the bugles and shouts of that era, inspiring a natural respect for the revolutionary ancestors.
