Alpe di Siusi

金色高山草甸天花板

如果说夏天的 Alpe di Siusi 是绿色牧场，10月则更像一幅金黄色的油画。这里最大的魅力不是某一个打卡点，而是大片开阔的高山草甸和群山背景。

If you are driving to Tre Cime, pay close attention to the toll road and access requirements for the road leading to Rifugio Auronzo. According to the official 2026 information, advance reservations are required, and vehicles must reserve access online.

The classic route starts around Rifugio Auronzo, passes through areas including Rifugio Lavaredo, and forms a loop. However, in October, don't focus only on the difficulty of the trail. Weather conditions, snow, road access and the opening status of mountain huts are all important factors to consider.

Seceda

Seceda is one of those places that many people save the moment they first see a photo of the Dolomites. Its distinctive knife-edge ridge is genuinely spectacular.

Important Things to Know Before Visiting the Dolomites in October:

Different areas have different closing dates at the end of the season.

Don't dress for the Dolomites the same way you would for a city trip in Italy. For high-altitude hiking in particular, wind protection can be just as important as wearing enough warm layers.

3️⃣ Mountain huts and restaurants may close for the season

A mountain hut that operates during summer may not necessarily remain open in October.

By mid to late October, some high-altitude hütte may begin closing for the season.

Before setting out on a hike, make sure you have checked these four things: trail conditions, cable car operations, mountain hut opening dates and return times.
