    Hello, everyone! The Great Wall

    There is a well-known Chinese saying that “He who doesn't reachthe Great Wall is not a true man.” The Great Wall is one of the wonders of the world created by human beings. With a length of more than 5000 kilometers, it is the longest structure in the world, which was built continuously over 2000 years by Chinese people.

长城

 中国有句古话：不到长城非好汉。长城是人类创造的世界奇迹之一。长城长一万多里，是世界上最长的建筑，是中国人民历时2000多年陆续修建的。

    Looked like a sleeping dragon across our land, the Great Wall was firstly built to protect our civilization from being invaded by tribes in the north. Now it is seen as one of the world’s most amazing historical architectures and attracts millions of visitors from both domestic and foreign countries every year.

 长城宛若一条卧龙蜿蜒守护着我们的疆域，其修建的初衷是保卫中华文明不被北方部落侵袭。 如今长城被认为是世界上最令人惊叹的历史建筑之一，每年吸引着国内外数以百万计的游客。

The Palace Museum (the Forbidden City)

    The palace museum, which is also known as the Forbidden City, is the largest and best preserved ancient royal building complex in the world. What makes it so fascinating is that it used to be the palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties, where 24 emperors once lived. Located in the center of Beijing, it has a history of more than 600 years.

故宫博物院（紫禁城）

 故宫博物院又称紫禁城，是世界上规模最大、保存最完好的古代皇家建筑群。它之所以如此迷人，是因为它曾经是明清两代的宫殿，24位皇帝曾在此居住。它位于北京市中心，有600多年的历史。

    Strolling in it, appreciating the vermilion walls and gold-glazed tiles, people could imagine how the royal life would be. It is traditionally said that there are 999.5 rooms in this rectangle-shaped palace, only half room less than the Heavenly Palace, showing the respect to the Heavenly Emperor. The Forbidden City could be called the most stunning and dazzling palace, and one of the most charming tourist resorts in China.

 漫步其中，欣赏朱红的墙壁和金色的琉璃瓦，人们可以想象出皇室的生活会是怎样的。传说这座长方形宫殿有999.5间房，仅比天宫少半间，以表达对天宫皇帝的敬意。紫禁城堪称中国最迷人、最耀眼的宫殿，也是中国最迷人的旅游胜地之一。

Jiuzhaigou

    Located in the mountains of western China’s Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou, a world-renowned sight, is famous for its lakes with amazing colors. It’s often said that “people who come back from Jiuzhaigou has no eager to appreciate water in other places.” The numerous crystal lakes with diverse colors, like turquoise, blue, green or emerald make it like a fairyland. These lakes vary in colors according to their depth, the scenery around them, seasons, light and even the viewing angle. As the lakes are so clear that people could enjoy a magical view: the trees and flowers growing in the water—the reflection of the surroundings.

九寨沟

 九寨沟位于中国西部四川省的群山之中，是一个世界著名的风景区，以其多彩的湖泊而闻名。人们常说，“九寨归来不看水。”无数清澈的湖泊颜色各异，如蓝绿色、蓝色、绿色或祖母绿，使九寨沟像一个仙境。这些湖泊的颜色因其深度、周围风景、季节、光线甚至观赏视角而异。由于湖水清澈，人们可以欣赏到神奇的景象：水中生长的树木和花朵—这些是周围环境的倒影。

    Besides, the China’s widest waterfall, Nuorilang Waterfall is also definitely worth your visit. Therefore, if you like natural landscape, Jiuzhaigou is a must for you.

 此外，中国最宽的瀑布，诺日朗瀑布也绝对值得一游。所以，如果你喜欢自然景观，九寨沟是你的必去之地。
