旅游正当时:正定唐韵——钟楼与砖塔的千年邂逅

正定开元寺唐代钟楼，是中国现存唯一的唐代钟楼，堪称“活的唐史”。

The Tang Dynasty Bell Tower of Kaiyuan Temple in Zhengding, the only existing Tang-era bell tower in China, is like a "living history of the Tang Dynasty".

它建于唐开元年间，砖木结构的身躯里藏着盛唐的气度：两层三檐的楼体稳重古朴，青瓦覆盖的屋顶在时光里褪成沉静的灰，檐角微微上翘，带着不事张扬的灵动。底层与厚重的须弥座相连，上层悬挂的古钟虽久不常鸣，却仿佛仍能穿透千年，让人听见盛唐的晨钟暮鼓。

Built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, its brick-and-wood structure embodies the grandeur of that golden age: the two-story, three-eaved tower stands steady and simple, with a gray-tiled roof mellowed by time, and slightly upturned eaves carrying a quiet elegance. Connected to a solid Sumeru base on the ground floor, the ancient bell hanging on the upper floor, though rarely rung now, seems to pierce through a thousand years, evoking the distant chimes of morning bells and evening drums of the Tang.

钟楼之奇，更在“塔殿相向”的罕见格局。

The bell tower’s uniqueness lies in its rare "pagoda facing hall" layout.

紧邻钟楼的，是一座唐代须弥座式砖塔，塔身斑驳却风骨犹存。一塔一楼并肩而立，塔的厚重与楼的灵动相映成趣，这种布局在国内古建筑中独树一帜，默默诉说着古人对空间与对称的精妙理解。

Adjacent to the bell tower stands a Tang Dynasty brick pagoda with a Sumeru base, its weathered surface retaining its dignity. The pagoda and tower stand side by side, the pagoda’s solidity complementing the tower’s grace—a configuration unparalleled in China’s ancient architecture, silently revealing the ancients’ exquisite understanding of space and symmetry.

如今，钟楼静静矗立在开元寺内，青砖上的纹路是时光刻下的印章。

它不仅是一座建筑，更是盛唐气象的缩影，是正定古城“九楼四塔八大寺”繁华过往的见证。触摸它的木构，仿佛能触到千年前工匠的温度，听见历史在耳边轻轻回响。

Today, the bell tower stands quietly in Kaiyuan Temple, with time’s seal carved into its brick patterns.

 More than just a building, it epitomizes the Tang Dynasty’s splendor and witnesses Zhengding’s glorious past as an ancient city of "nine towers, four pagodas, and eight great temples". Touching its wooden frame, one almost feels the warmth of craftsmen from a millennium ago, and hears history whispering softly in the ear.
