Today, I want to explore the city like a local. I decide to take the bus instead of a taxi. First, I use my phone to find the nearest bus stop.

When the bus arrives, I wait for people to get off first. Then I get on the bus and tap my card. I ask the driver, "Does this bus go to the City Center?" He nods and says, "Yes, it takes about twenty minutes."

I find a seat near the window. I am a bit nervous about missing my stop. I watch the screen inside the bus carefully. When I see my destination, I press the "Stop" button. The bus stops smoothly. I say "Thank you" to the driver and walk out. Taking the bus is such a great way to see the city!

那些你不知道的“潜规则” (Expert Tips)

1. 招手即停（Hail the Bus）： 在很多欧美国家，如果你只是站在站台不招手，司机可能认为你不在等这趟车，会直接开走。

2. 按铃下车（Press to Stop）： 除非站台有人等车，否则司机默认“无人按铃即不停”。请务必提前观察扶手上的红色 STOP 按钮。

3. 礼貌文化： 英国、澳洲等地，下车时习惯对司机大声说一句 "Thank you" 或 "Cheers"。
