Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in Anshun, Guizhou Province. It is Asia’s largest waterfall and a national 5A-level scenic spot. The whole scenic area is a huge karst waterfall cluster made up of 18 waterfalls. The main waterfall is 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide. There is a 134-meter Water Curtain Cave behind the waterfall, allowing visitors to walk through behind the falling water. The best visiting time is June to August when the water volume is huge. On sunny days, you may see rainbows above Rhinoceros Pool.

1. Huangguoshu Main Waterfall 黄果树大瀑布

It is the core attraction of the whole scenic area. You can watch the waterfall from multiple viewing platforms. The famous Water Curtain Cave runs through the back of the waterfall. When walking inside, you can feel the spray and roaring water closely. If you dislike climbing steep steps, you can take the sightseeing escalator for extra payment. prepare raincoats because water mist will soak your clothes.

2. Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area 天星桥景区

Tianxing Bridge features unique karst landscapes including stone forests, caves and waterfalls. Many tourists only visit the first half, but the second half holds the most beautiful view — Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall. Thin streams drop down like countless silver chains. There are also Stone Steps of Life and Tianxing Cave with fantastic stalactites.

天星桥拥有石林、溶洞、瀑布等独特喀斯特景观。很多游客只游览前半段，但精华在后半段，银链坠潭瀑布是景区颜值担当，水流如万千银链倾泻而下。还有数生步与布满奇形钟乳石的天星洞。

3. Doupotang Waterfall 陡坡塘瀑布

Doupotang Waterfall has a wide and gentle waterfall surface. It is the shooting site of the opening scene of the classic TV series Journey to the West. Compared with the main waterfall, it is easier to visit with flat paths and less walking. It is suitable for families with the elderly and kids.

陡坡塘瀑布瀑面宽阔平缓，是经典电视剧《西游记》片头取景地。相比大瀑布，游览更轻松，步道平缓，步行量小，适合老人与小孩游览。

First, book tickets in advance online. The scenic shuttle bus is essential because the three spots are far apart. Second, wear non-slip comfortable shoes, the paths get wet and slippery near waterfalls. Third, bring disposable raincoats and waterproof phone bags. Fourth, the temperature is lower in mountain areas, take a thin jacket. Fifth, respect the customs of local Buyi and Miao ethnic groups.
